Friday, October 2 | Centennial Park & Amphitheater
Start the month in Downtown Boynton Beach with First Friday @ 5! The City’s monthly event brings food trucks, live music and family-friendly entertainment to Centennial Park & Amphitheater. Grab something to eat, enjoy the music and kick off your October weekend downtown.

Monday, October 12 | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Carolyn Sims Center
No school? No problem! The City of Boynton Beach Recreation & Parks Department is giving kids ages 5–12 a fun way to spend their day off with Out of School is Kool Day.
The supervised program gives children an opportunity to play, explore, meet new friends and participate in games and activities throughout the day. Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register early.
Cost: $30 for residents / $38 for nonresidents, per child

Saturday, October 17 | 3–6 PM | Centennial Park & Amphitheater
Celebrate the season at the City of Boynton Beach Fall Festival! This free family event returns to Centennial Park & Amphitheater with an afternoon of activities for kids and families.
Enjoy pony rides, a rock wall, face painting, a DJ and more while spending a fall afternoon in Downtown Boynton Beach.
Free public parking will be available near Boynton Beach Boulevard and Seacrest Boulevard, and rideshare is encouraged. Please note that portions of E. Ocean Avenue and SE 1st Avenue will be temporarily closed for the event.

BOO with the Blue: Trunk or Treat
Wednesday, October 28 | 6–8 PM | Boynton Beach Police Department
Grab your costumes and get ready to BOO with the Blue! The Boynton Beach Police Department is hosting its second annual Trunk or Treat, giving families a safe and festive way to celebrate Halloween alongside local first responders.
Kids can collect candy from creatively decorated police vehicles while families explore displays from BBPD specialty units and Boynton Beach Fire Rescue. The evening will also feature music from Digital Vibez, food trucks, a bounce house, a festive photo booth and plenty of Halloween treats.
Come dressed in your Halloween best and enjoy an evening of family fun with BBPD!

Friday, October 30 | 7 PM | Wilson Park
Halloween weekend starts with a scream! Bring your blankets, towels and lawn chairs to Wilson Park for the City’s annual Scream on the Green.
Families are invited to settle in under the stars for a free, family-friendly spooky movie on the lawn. Concessions will also be available for purchase.

Centennial Park & Amphitheater & East Ocean Avenue
Ahoy, Boynton Beach! One of the City’s signature events returns to Downtown Boynton Beach for Halloween weekend.
The FREE Boynton Beach Pirate Fest will transform downtown into a pirate adventure filled with live music, pirate performances, roaming entertainment, interactive pirate encampments, a Mermaid Grotto, kids activities, food, vendors and more.
Feeling brave? Venture through the Haunted Trail, or join the fun with sword fighting, archery, axe throwing and other pirate-themed activities. Young buccaneers can explore the Lil Scallywag Zone with face painting, games and family activities. A Pirate Fest parade and costume contest will add even more Halloween fun to the weekend.
Free parking and ADA-accessible shuttle service will be available from designated locations, making it easier to park and make your way downtown.
