The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (BBCRA) was excited to join PulteGroup on May 8th for their “Meet Your Neighbors” celebration at the new Cottage District community! Marking another exciting milestone in the ongoing transformation of eastern Boynton Beach!

CRA Board Members and staff gathered alongside 41 new homeowners for an evening filled with great food, drinks, laughter, and community connection. The special event provided the new neighbors with an opportunity to meet one another, share stories, and celebrate the exciting transformation taking place within the Cottage District redevelopment project.

More than just a housing development, the Cottage District represents a significant investment in the future of Boynton Beach and a major step forward in expanding attainable homeownership opportunities. The community includes 19 single-family homes sold to households earning between 81% and 100% of the Area Median Income (AMI), along with 22 townhomes sold to households earning between 60% and 80% AMI, helping hardworking families achieve the dream of homeownership.

Beyond the homes themselves, the project was thoughtfully designed to enhance quality of life for residents through beautiful green spaces, wide pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, and new streetlighting that creates a safer and more welcoming neighborhood environment.

For many families, the evening marked more than simply moving into a new home—it celebrated the beginning of a new chapter. As neighbors met for the first time and relationships began to form, the event served as a powerful reminder that successful redevelopment is about more than buildings and infrastructure. It is about creating opportunities, strengthening neighborhoods, and building a lasting sense of community.

The BBCRA is honored to have played a role in bringing this transformative project to life and looks forward to watching the Cottage District continue to grow into a vibrant neighborhood where residents can connect, thrive, and create lasting memories together.
