If you’ve spent any time in Boynton Beach, you know that Two Georges Waterfront Grille is more than just a restaurant, it is a local staple. Since 1957, this beloved spot has been the go-to destination for anyone looking to pair a “Dirty Banana” cocktail with the freshest Maryland crab cakes while watching the boats cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway.
But even a classic needs a little maintenance to stay seaworthy. Recently, Two Georges underwent significant functional upgrades to ensure it remains a premier “dock and dine” destination for decades to come.

Strengthening the Shoreline
The heart of any waterfront establishment is its connection to the sea. To keep the restaurant’s perimeter secure and the docking experience seamless, Two Georges recently completed extensive dock and seawall improvements.
This remodel wasn’t just for cosmetic purposes. In Florida’s coastal environment, maintaining a sturdy seawall is critical for protecting the local ecosystem and the structural integrity of the marina. The upgraded docks mean more reliable space for boaters to pull up, tie off, and step right into the lively atmosphere under the iconic thatch roof.
A Helping Hand from the Boynton Beach CRA
Quality infrastructure comes with a significant price tag, and that’s where community partnership plays a vital role. The Boynton Beach CRA (BBCRA) stepped in to support this local landmark through its Commercial Property Improvement Grant Program.
We are excited to share that the BBCRA assisted with a grant totaling $59,610 to help facilitate the essential improvements to reinforce the property’s structure. This funding highlights the agency’s commitment to preserving the “working waterfront” character of the Boynton Harbor Marina while supporting the small businesses that make our city unique.
Why We Love Two Georges
Whether you arrive by car or by boat, the vibe at Two Georges remains unmatched. From feeding the catfish off the docks to catching the big game on one of their 20+ flat screens, it’s the ultimate place to embrace the Florida lifestyle.
Next time you’re enjoying the breeze at the tiki bar, take a look at the sturdy new shoreline and the improved docks, it’s a great example of redevelopment at work right here in Boynton Beach.
