Things are starting to look a little different at the intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and I-95! The Florida Department of Transportation’s interchange project is now underway, bringing with it exciting redevelopment opportunities for our community.

On October 1, 2025, the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (BBCRA) acquired the 2.11-acre property located at 480 W. Boynton Beach Boulevard, formerly known as the Inn at Boynton Beach. This site, one of the largest available parcels west of Seacrest Boulevard, represents a key opportunity for transformative redevelopment within Boynton Beach’s main corridor.

Due to the current condition of the existing structure, the building will be demolished to make way for future redevelopment. The BBCRA is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $75,000 through the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority’s Blighted and Distressed Property Clean-Up Grant Program to help offset the demolition costs.

Located within the Boynton Beach Boulevard District, this property plays a vital role in the BBCRA’s vision for a welcoming and attractive gateway into Downtown Boynton Beach. The CRA Plan for this district envisions mixed-use and low-density residential developments that foster a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly corridor with engaging public spaces and private investment.

The BBCRA looks forward to sharing more updates as this important redevelopment project progresses—another step toward creating a more vibrant and beautiful Boynton Beach!
