Get ready for a vibrant celebration of sustainability, community, and environmental action during the annual Earth Month event, hosted by the City of Boynton Beach Sustainability Department. This free, family-friendly event welcomes everyone to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon packed with eco-friendly activities, environmental awareness, live entertainment, fun games and activities, and an opportunity to connect with local businesses and organizations. 

Let’s come together to celebrate “Our Power, Our Planet” and discover how small actions can lead to big change. The event’s theme is centered around the importance of collective action and renewable energy and encourages everyone to take part in shaping a greener future. With something for every age, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the Earth while enjoying meaningful activities and entertainment.

The Boynton Beach CRA (BBCRA) is proud to partner with the City of Boynton Beach for this meaningful Earth Month celebration! Join us as we help activate Sara Sims Park with community spirit and sustainability. Be sure to visit the BBCRA tent to learn more about our exciting projects and initiatives aimed at revitalizing Boynton Beach. Plus, don’t miss our hands-on seed planting activity—fun for all ages and a great way to grow something green at home!

Event Highlights

• When: Saturday, April 12^th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Where: Sara Sims Park, 209 NW 9^th Court, Boynton Beach, FL 33435
• Cost: FREE to attend!
• Parking: Parking will be available at the following locations:
  •  Sara Sims Park
    • Limited parking will be available in the primary parking lot
    • ADA parking will be available in the parking lot located directly behind the stage
  • Street parking will be available on NW 9^th Avenue and NW 10^th Avenue
  • New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, located at 221 NW 8^th Avenue
  • Park at the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum, located at 129 East Ocean Avenue, and ride the complimentary shuttle to the event.
• Free Tree Giveaway: In partnership with Community Greening, residents can receive a free tree (first-come, first-served) to enhance their property and contribute to a greener Boynton Beach.
• Rain Barrel Giveaway: Support water conservation efforts! Pre-registered residents will receive a free rain barrel (limited quantity) to help capture and reuse rainwater.
• Entertainment:
  • Enjoy the tropical rhythms of Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs, bringing good vibes and smooth reggae beats to the celebration.
  • A variety of family-friendly activities will be featured:

    • Craft Activities
    • Lawn Games
• Eco-Vendors & Artisans Showcase: Browse local vendors and eco-friendly exhibitors offering sustainable products, educational materials, and unique handmade goods.
• Food Trucks & Refreshments: Come hungry! A variety of food trucks will be serving up flavorful dishes and sweet treats throughout the event.
