#BOLO! A new and improved Boynton Beach Boulevard is on its way! We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors to eastern Boynton Beach along a new and improved corridor with widened sidewalks, new bike lanes, a new pedestrian crosswalk, and resurfacing of the boulevard.
While this beautification project has been a long-awaited improvement for the City and its residents, we encourage patience among drivers as lane closures begin on May 6th. Construction is anticipated to begin in May 2024 with an estimated completion at the end of 2025.
Both east and west bound lanes will be reduced to one-lane during the construction. Drivers can seek alternate routes along Woolbright Road and Gateway Boulevard. The funding for this project is a result of a combination of awarded grant funding and funding from the BBCRA’s budget.
