The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (BBCRA) is thrilled for the upcoming Boynton Beach Art Walk – CALIENTE!

All community members and visitors are invited to experience the sights and sounds of the Art Walk on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 410 W. Industrial Avenue. The free, family-friendly event, which is a collaborative effort between the BBCRA, Florida Arts Association, Art Synergy, and Boynton Beach Art District, will feature a variety of artisan and retail vendors, a live art painting, Instagrammable elements, and much more.

What is the Boynton Beach Industrial Craft District?

The Boynton Beach Industrial Craft District is a vibrant community of creatives located within the heart of the city’s industrial complex at 410 West Industrial Avenue.

Established by sculptor Richard Beau-Lieu in the mid 80’s as the Neighborhood Arts District and re-branded by visual artist Rolando Chang Barrero in 2012, as the Boynton Beach Art District (BBAD). The space offers subsidized studio spaces for up and coming artists. The BBAD supports the local creative arts community and emerging artists through a variety of projects and activities, including exhibition opportunities with community partners such as: The Box Gallery, Art Palm Beach, the City of Boynton Beach, and a variety of other entities.

Where is the Boynton Beach Art District located?

The event will be held within the Boynton Beach Industrial Craft District, located at 410 West Industrial Avenue.

Where can I park for this event?

Limited on-street parking will be available along W. Industrial Avenue. Patrons are strongly encouraged to park at Palm Beach Eyes, located at 640 Boynton Beach Boulevard. Crossing guards will be located at the intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Industrial Avenue to assist with pedestrian crossings. 

Designated ADA parking will be available in the grassy area directly across from the event.

What will be featured at the event?

The lively event will feature a Latin flair in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, and include a local DJ, a Mariachi band, saxophonist, special dance performances by Southern Dance Theater and Fred Astaire, unique vendor exhibitions, studio tours, food and beverages, costumed characters, a live art painting, a rock painting art activity, face painting, and much more.

Community members and visitors are invited to explore the area and tour the studios while immersing themselves into the artistic elements that are naturally within the BBAD. With a variety of colorful murals, the space is the perfect place to capture selfies or photos with friends and family.
