As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt and change the lives of countless residents throughout Boynton Beach, we have seen the rise of hometown heroes who have chosen to help the community with various acts of kindness and generosity. Some of our local businesses, despite having to shut their dining rooms to customers, have gone above and beyond to assist the local community. We want to recognize these heroes for their efforts.

Common Grounds Brew & Roastery

Common Grounds is working with #GetUsPPE to help get personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers that are on the front lines of this crisis. Five dollars from every bag of coffee purchased will be donated to this organization which is ensuring the safety of healthcare workers.

Common Grounds has also donated coffee and food to Bethesda Hospital to help fuel front-line workers through their long shifts.

Visit their website at commongroundsbr.com to purchase a bag of coffee today, or help support their efforts by getting takeout from their location at 1517 S. Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435.

Driftwood Boynton Beach

Driftwood Boynton Beach, in partnership with Future 6, contributed 500 meals to first responders and city workers that are helping to keep Boynton Beach safe and operational (or functioning), while others are forced to stay home. Driftwood wants to say thank you to those who work tirelessly in our city and rarely get noticed.

Despite facing their own economic hardship during these difficult times, the aforementioned businesses understand the importance of supporting the local community. We are all in this together, so if you can please consider supporting a local business today. And remember, when you support a local business, you contribute to the success of invaluable members of the Boynton Beach community.
