On June 4th, the Boynton Beach CRA had the honor of co-hosting a special tour of the Heart of Boynton Village Apartments & Shops alongside Centennial Management Corporation. We were proud to welcome Palm Beach County Commissioners, as well as County Planning & Zoning staff, to experience firsthand the transformational impact of this mixed-use development.

The $34 million project exemplifies the power of public-private partnerships in driving community-focused development. Featuring 124 affordable multi-family rental units and 8,250 square feet of neighborhood-serving commercial space, the project was made possible through a collaborative funding effort from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, BBCRA, the City of Boynton Beach, and Palm Beach County.

Designed to be a catalyst for future redevelopment and economic opportunity along the corridor, the project is already making a measurable impact. According to Palm Beach County’s 2023 Economic Impact Study, the project is expected to create 519 permanent jobs and 340 indirect jobs over five years, generating an estimated $102.7 million in economic activity.

A heartfelt thank you to Centennial Management Corporation and to County Commissioners Joel Flores, Marci Woodward and Bobbi Powell Jr., and Boynton Beach City Commissioner Woodrow Hay for joining us on the tour and for their continued commitment to community-driven progress.
