With its charming ambiance and chic old school vibe, The Butcher & The Bar, located at 510 E. Ocean Avenue #101, brought a unique restaurant concept to Downtown Boynton Beach when it opened in 2020. From the door handles shaped like meat cleavers to the mounted turntable with vintage records, you’ll be immersed in an industrial stylized environment that is welcoming for a romantic date or night out with friends.

In addition to the cozy atmosphere, you’ll also find excellent service and a great selection of premium meats and quality dishes. At The Butcher & The Bar, quality, freshness and hospitality are of the utmost importance. Their philosophy is to provide a “premium, not pretentious” experience for their guests, which is why they only serve the finest and freshest ingredients. They emphasize hospitality much more than just good service, wanting their guests to feel both welcomed and relaxed.

The Butcher and The Bar’s butcher shop is a whole animal butchery featuring regionally sourced clean meats and food. Their passion is unparalleled for locally sourced, farm-fresh ingredients and “clean” foods. Their selections include premium cuts of meats and poultry, including their now famous all beef hot dog.  In addition, they feature many varieties of sausages, bone broths, side dishes, and ready-to-cook products. The butcher shop features a limited menu of custom crafted sandwiches available for dine-in or take-out. In the evenings, they offer Butcher Bites & Bar Snacks; small plates that showcases product from their butcher’s kitchen.

The Butcher & The Bar is a 100% scratch kitchen, which means they never use products that are processed or loaded with salt and chemical preservatives. They dry age, cure, and smoke their meats and make all of their toppings and condiments, including ketchup, mayo, and sauerkraut in-house! This process enables them to provide their guests with a unique and high quality dining experience on a daily basis. With their emphasis on freshness, it’s no surprise that they offer some of the most flavorful meals in town. The Butcher & The Bar doesn’t just offer quality meat their menu, which changes daily, often features seafood and vegetarian dishes. 

In addition to their amazing dishes, they also have a full bar that offers a variety of specialty cocktails, craft beers, and wines. Their experienced mixologists are constantly creating new recipes and perfecting old classics. They use only the freshest ingredients and finest spirits to craft their unique concoctions. As part of the BBCRA’s Economic Development Grant Program, The Butcher and the Bar received approximately $81,500 in 50% matching rent reimbursement for their first 18 months of business as well as funds for eligible interior build-out improvements. The Butcher and The Bar has also participated in a number of BBCRA special programs, events and initiatives, including: A featured vendor at Rock the Block, a competitor in the Rock the Marina fish dip contest, and a featured business for Bon Appetit Boynton Beach.
