Over the past few weeks Boynton Beach residents, along with individuals living all across the globe, have experienced the direct effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are certainly living in unprecedented times that are rapidly changing and evolving on a daily basis. Despite so many unknowns and ever-evolving policies and regulations, we are all navigating this new way of living to the best of our ability. The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) remains unwavering in our commitment to support the local community with guidance and resources during these difficult times.
We are monitoring real-time updates and directives from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the State of Florida, Palm Beach County, and the City of Boynton Beach. We are taking this pandemic very seriously and encourage you to do the same. OFFICE CLOSURE
In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and to protect the well-being of our staff and community members, the CRA office is currently closed to the public. During this time of social distancing CRA staff members are temporarily working remotely from home. Our staff is eager and ready to assist however we can, so please don’t hesitate to reach out as you normally would by email or phone. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
The SBA is offering loans through funding provided by the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act. They will work directly with state Governors to provide targeted, low-interest loans to small businesses and non-profits that have been severely impacted.

Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program
The Bridge Loan Program, which is managed by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), provides short-term, interest-free loans to small businesses that are experiencing economic issues from COVID-19. Applications will be accepted through May 8, 2020, contingent on the availability of funds.

Emergency Business Damage Assessment Survey
Introduced by Governor DeSantis, this survey will assess the impact on Florida’s local business operations to determine which businesses may qualify for relief programs.

Reemployment Assistance
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity has announced that individuals who have had their employment negatively impacted because of mitigation efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, may be eligible to receive Reemployment Assistance.
