Have you attended the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency’s (CRA) Rock the Plaza concert series?

If not, you are in luck because we just launched a new season of this phenomenal business promotional event in January. Each month, now through April, the CRA will bring fantastic local bands, and family-friendly fun to various plazas throughout the CRA District.

But did you know that this event is more than just a party?

It’s no secret that over the past few years the way that consumers interact with marketplace merchants has significantly changed. Today more than ever, consumers are flocking to the Internet, which offers fast and efficient shopping opportunities, along with the ability to endlessly search for the best deals. In an effort of combat eCommerce, it has become commonplace for marketplace retailers to create unique shopping experiences by offering special activations that engage and stimulate consumers with special experiences that cannot be found online. 

This new concept of experiential shopping is exactly why the CRA launched its Rock the Plaza event series in 2018. The event was designed to bring awareness to local businesses operating out of plazas located in the CRA District, and to promote shopping local for goods and services in Boynton Beach.

The event series provides business owners with a unique opportunity to utilize a new concept and approach to connecting with consumers. Event patrons who come to the events to listen to live music and enjoy family-friendly activities, also become familiar with local businesses that they may have previously overlooked. Many business owners take advantage of the event by offering special promotions in order to attract new customers.  

Each event features a business promotional game such as a Rock The Word Puzzle or Rockin’ Business Bingo to entice patrons to visit each business and see what they have to offer. After completing the game, patrons are eligible to win some great prizes!
